Duralactin is an effective natural product known for its anti-inflammatory properties. The active ingredient is called MicroLactin, a milk protein concentrate derived from cow's milk. This protein, present in cow’s milk when triggered by bacterial and viral infections, helps protect their calves from tissue damage caused due to inflammation. Scientists found that MicroLactin’s anti-inflammatory properties work for a number of species including dogs, cats and horses. Duralactin can be used in conjunction with any medication, such as NSAID's, steroids, or pain medications. I often suggest using Duralactin with Dasuquin in early stages of arthritis to help with mild pain and inflammation associated with it. In later stages, it is also a great product to add on to other therapies. Duralactin can be used for cats, dogs, and horses. The dog products are either chewable tablets or soft chews. The cat products are capsules (which can be opened and sprinkled onto food) or soft chews. For all you horse people out there here are the pellets.
