Pill pockets are great way to get your animal to take medications. There many different flavors and they have dog and cat varieties. I find that the dog favorite at my hospital tends to be the Hickory smoked flavor, but each dog has their own preference. The cat favorite tends to be the Salmon flavored. These can also be used as training treats since they can be broken into many small pieces, but they are high in calories since they are made to be extremely palatable.
